it's our theatre empowers you to create and produce your own events! The sessions are led by young, professional Hip Hop artists from THROWDOWN UK.

You can learn skills in rapping, street dance, beat boxing, graffiti, and break-dance. And at the end you put on your own Slam Night to show off your skills!

Thurrock.

Along with our partners at The Hat factory in Luton, we are delighted to announce It’s Our Theatre: Thurrock has been invited by the East of England office in Brussels to perform as part of the Open Days European Social Fund week of meetings and debates in October 2010. Last year Open Day performances were a highlight of the festival

10 Years From Now’ was performance devised by our IOT Thurrock Crew and premiered at the Thameside Theatre on the 16^th March 2010. If THEATRE IS… is new to you, now is your chance to get involved! The Thurrock Events Team are working on how to take the production further and develop a whole new set of Slam events and workshops.

It's Our Theatre: Thurrock kicked off in September 2009. Funded by Thurrock Council and the Thurrock Thamesgateway Development Corporation, this Inspire Marked project is already making a splash.

it's our theatre: Thurrock has been granted the Inspire Mark and is an official London 2012 Inspire Programme Project.
