Norfolk.
It's our theatre… first piloted in Norfolk in 2008. During a week in early February there were 14 performances of the it's our theatre Roadshow. Throwing down in schools, town squares, shopping centres and youth clubs the Roadshow resulted in 450 young people applying to our workshop programme.
These workshops gave participants the chance to learn new skills in Hip Hop Dance, Breaking & Popping, Rap & Vocalism, DJing/Musical Production, acting and much more. Following the workshops 49 young people performed or shadowed backstage in a sold out Slam Night at the Sheringham Little Theatre.
