it's our theatre: is YOUR platform. A place where you can share your opinions on events directly with their creators.
it's our theatre: is exclusively for young people aged 13-25 in the East of England.
it's our theatre: is your site, here to help you shape the future of theatre.
it's our theatre is not:
An advertising site - please don't try to post ads here
A dating site - whilst we encourage you to chat about the issues, there are plenty of other sites out there if you just want to flirt or find love.
Moderation
Because there are risks out there for anyone interacting on the web, itsourtheatre.com message boards and video posts are moderated to prevent users from being exposed to content that is offensive, obscene, racist and libellous or which contravenes copyright law.
It is the responsibility of all users to report any content that contradicts the above.
House Rules
These are our House Rules. They are here for YOUR SAFETY AND PRIVACY so please stick to them at all times.
All message and video posts will be viewed by our moderators, to make sure that they are suitable for the site. Anything deemed unsuitable or illegal by the moderators will removed from the site. Users must report any content that is felt to be unsuitable.
If you post comments, events and organisations on the site, you must not:
Defame, abuse, harass or threaten others
Make any bigoted, hateful, or racially offensive statements
Advocate illegal activity or discuss illegal activities with the intent to commit them
Post or distribute any material that infringes and/or violates any right of a third party or any law
Post or distribute any vulgar, obscene, discourteous, or indecent language or images
Post or distribute any software or materials that contain a virus or other harmful component
When you register your details and use itsourtheatre.com you are confirming that you accept our House Rules and Terms of Service
1. No personal surnames, addresses, telephone numbers or school names are allowed on the boards. Any information that could identify you or your friends or family will be rejected for your and their safety.
2. Your communication should only take place through the it's our theatre site. FOR YOUR OWN SAFETY, it is ESSENTIAL that you do not attempt to have any other form of communication with anyone you come into contact with through the site.
3. When choosing a username for messaging, full names should NEVER be used. No flirty, sexual or offensive names will be allowed.
4. Don't pretend to be someone else - famous or otherwise.
5. it's our theatre encourages debate and everyone is entitled to their own opinion. We do request that comment is constructive. Although you may not like something it is likely their will be others who find it a hugely rewarding experience, please respect and value their opinions.
6. Abuse, personal, racist, sexist, homophobic, bullying or sexually explicit comments, messages or videos will not be tolerated. Any postings containing such content will be deleted by the moderators, and users banned.
7. Any videos or messages that contain, condone or encourage illegal activities will be deleted by the moderators and we may have a legal obligation to pass them to the relevant law enforcement authorities.
8. Repetitive, pointless or advertising messages will be deleted.
10. Everyone must be able to easily understand your message. This means other site users as well as the hosts and moderators. We will remove any messages or videos which contain or are written or performed in code or a language which isn't English.
11. Please don't post any videos containing TV programmes, films, computer programmes or any other copyrighted material.
12. If you post a video of yourself, please make sure you blur or remove any reference to where you live, go to school or hang out e.g. the logo on your school uniform badge or a sign in the background that says the name of your Youth Group. This is to protect your anonymity. Similarly you must make sure you have the permission of anyone you include in your film.
13. Do not deliberately post information that you know to be false.
14. it's our theatre reserves the right to modify the House Rules from time to time. If this is the case the new rules will be posted here with a note stating when they became effective.
Online actions may have offline consequences; anyone who consistently attempts to post material that breaks the House Rules will be banned and we may be obliged to contact the relevant authorities.
